Since its establishment in 2016, Anflo Industrial Estate (AIE) has emerged as a catalyst for industrial growth, innovation, and sustainable development in Panabo City—steadily positioning the area as a key player in Mindanao’s evolving industrial landscape.
The latest aerial view of Anflo Industrial Estate (AIE), showcasing the completed two out of five development phases of HEAD Sport and the ongoing development of Thai Coconut, one of the estate’s newest global locators. A decade since its establishment, the 63-hectare estate continues to take shape as a premier agro-industrial hub. Visible in the upper left is its close proximity to the Davao International Container Terminal (DICT), with its Empty Container Yard seen at the upper right of the frame.

Spanning 63 hectares, AIE is a Philippine Economic Zone Authority (PEZA)-registered Special Economic Zone. Situated just 300 meters from the Davao International Container Terminal (DICT), the estate offers seamless access to efficient logistics and global trade routes—an advantage that continues to attract export-oriented enterprises – making it the Philippines’ premier agro-industrial hub in southern Mindanao.
Over the past decade, AIE has attracted a diverse mix of global locators from six countries—the United States, China, Japan, Austria, Thailand, and the Philippines—reflecting growing international confidence in the estate’s strategic vision and capabilities.
Rooted in a vision that builds on Panabo’s agricultural legacy, AIE reinforces the longstanding contributions of Tagum Agricultural Development Company (TADECO), whose decades of leadership helped establish the city as the banana capital of the Philippines. Today, AIE carries this legacy forward, reimagining Panabo as a modern agri-industrial gateway to Mindanao—where tradition meets innovation, and local strength connects to global opportunity.
Global Locators, Local Impact
Since opening its doors in 2016, AIE has steadily built a globally competitive ecosystem, attracting international locators that see both strategic value and long-term growth in Panabo City. More than just offering space for operations, AIE has cultivated an environment where global standards meet local strengths—turning investments into enduring partnerships.

HEAD Sport, the world’s largest manufacturer of tennis balls, is currently AIE’s biggest locator—marking one of the most significant milestones and investments secured by the estate to date.
Among its most prominent locators is HEAD Sport, a globally recognized leader in premium sports equipment and the world’s largest manufacturer of tennis balls. Its presence in AIE underscores Mindanao’s role in the global supply chain, with the company sourcing 100 percent of its natural rubber requirements from the region. In Panabo, select tennis balls are manufactured and exported worldwide, while processed rubber is also shipped to its facilities in China for further production—demonstrating a seamless integration of local resources into international markets.
Another key locator, NP Changs Inc., brings a distinct dimension to AIE’s locator mix. Known for producing high-quality packaging for global luxury brands such as Godiva, the company highlights the estate’s capacity to support precision-driven industries. Notably, NP Changs Inc. employs a workforce that is approximately 90 percent women, recognizing their craftsmanship and attention to detail—qualities essential to producing intricate, hand-finished packaging products for the global market.
Expanding AIE’s agro-industrial footprint is Novococonut, a Thailand-based brand specializing in ready-to-eat and ready-to-drink coconut products for major markets, including the USA, Europe, the Middle East, and the rest of Asia. Its investment in Panabo signals strong confidence not only in AIE’s infrastructure but also in the quality and competitiveness of the Philippines’ coconut industry. By sourcing locally and producing for international distribution, Thai Coconut further strengthens Mindanao’s position as a reliable supplier of high-value agricultural products.
Reinforcing AIE’s role in ensuring regional resilience is GMAC Logitech Refrigeration Corporation, one of the estate’s newest locators. As a cold storage facility serving the Davao Region and nearby areas, the company plays a critical role in preserving agricultural and food products, supporting supply chain efficiency, and advancing food security across Mindanao. Its presence reflects how strategic investments in infrastructure can address real-world challenges, even amid rising global costs such as fuel and logistics.
As a trailblazer in advancing this initiative in the city, AIE took decisive steps to make it possible. It forged strategic partnerships with Manila Water Philippine Ventures to ensure a reliable and high-quality water supply, and with Davao Light and Power Company to provide efficient and dependable electricity to support the operations of its global locators.
From Mindanao to the World
Reinforcing Panabo’s long-standing reputation as the banana capital of the Philippines and a trusted exporter of high-quality fresh and processed goods, Damosa Land advances this legacy through AIE. Envisioned as a strategic bridge, AIE empowers farmers and homegrown enterprises to move beyond local markets and scale into the global arena. Its proximity to the DICT further strengthens this advantage—enabling efficient logistics, seamless export operations, and greater competitiveness on the world stage.

Featuring the Ready-Built Factories (RBF) of Anflo Industrial Estate, home to many of the estate’s homegrown enterprise locators, including (not in order) Solaris Panabo Corp., First Panabo Tropical Foods Corporation, Phil JDU Building Supplier Corp, and Del Monte Philippines, Inc., among many others.
Among these is Solaris Panabo Corp., a forward-looking firm engaged in the research, development, and production of high-efficiency solar cells. Known for its culture of continuous innovation, precise process management, and strong execution capabilities, the company represents a growing shift toward technology-driven industries emerging from Mindanao—proving that the region is not only rich in natural resources but also in advanced manufacturing potential.
Equally significant is First Panabo Tropical Foods Corporation, a key player in the food manufacturing sector. Based in Panabo City, the company has made its mark as a major exporter of banana-based products, particularly frozen saba bananas. By transforming local produce into globally distributed goods, it exemplifies how value-adding industries can elevate Mindanao’s agricultural exports to meet international demand.
These companies reflect a broader narrative—one where homegrown brands rise from local roots to global relevance. Anchored in quality, driven by innovation, and guided by international standards, they demonstrate how AIE continues to bridge Mindanao’s strengths with opportunities across the world.
