Kahi Estates, Damosa Land’s newest project and Davao City’s first agri-residential subdivision, inaugurated its newly completed guardhouse with a blessing ceremony last November 26, 2025. Located in Puan, Davao City, Kahi Estates continues to advance its vision of a sustainable and thoughtfully planned residential community.

As the second structure to rise within the development, the guardhouse employs one of the sustainability practices that Kahi Estates champions – one that harmonizes modern design with environmental stewardship. Its distinct butterfly roof is more than an architectural statement; it is purposefully designed to improve rainwater catchment efficiency, supporting the community’s long-term sustainability goals.

This innovation is just one among several eco-friendly initiatives integrated into the development. One of the site’s most defining features is the preservation of nearly decade-old trees, which Damosa Land has committed to protecting and urges future residents to value as well.
“These trees are the most effective in controlling floods. We cannot build trees like these—only the Man above can. That’s why our top priority is to retain them to help ensure there will be no flooding inside and outside the estates,” said Damosa Land President Ricardo Floirendo Lagdameo.
Another point of pride for the development is its commitment to 100% underground cabling, making Kahi Estates the first subdivision in Davao City to adopt this standard. This approach not only improves safety and reliability but also preserves the community’s natural views by minimizing visual clutter.
Kahi Estates offers lot-only properties enriched by the presence of these mature trees, which come as part of the estate’s unique value. Launched in 2024, Damosa Land aims to complete the development by 2027 as it prepares for its next phases, all designed with the future residents’ quality of life at the forefront.
