Preparedness is more than just a policy at Damosa Land — it’s a core value. We believe that safety starts with awareness, grows through training, and thrives with consistent practice. In recent months, we strengthened our commitment to creating a secure environment for our people, tenants, and community through two significant safety initiatives: the City-Wide Earthquake and Tsunami Drill and the Fire Safety Awareness Seminar.
Damosa Land took part in the City-Wide Shake Out Simulation, last July 25, 2025, in partnership with the Davao City government through the Davao City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (CDRRMO). A total of 405 participants from various tenants and offices across the Damosa Complex actively joined the drill. This exercise simulated the immediate actions to take during an earthquake and the necessary evacuation protocols for a tsunami scenario — reinforcing readiness in the face of natural disasters.
Just weeks later, safety awareness continued with our Fire Safety Awareness Seminar, slated last August 7, 2025, at the DDT Collab. The session gathered 65 employees from Damosa Land, Inc. and Anflocon. The seminar was led by in-house safety experts who provided vital knowledge on preventing workplace fire hazards, responding effectively during emergencies, and the proper use of fire equipment. It also emphasized compliance with safety regulations to protect both people and company assets.
We aim to cultivate a culture where every individual is equipped, confident, and ready to respond in times of crisis. These activities not only safeguard our workplace but also contribute to the wider goal of building a disaster-resilient Davao community.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to all employees, tenants, and partners who participated and committed their time to these initiatives. Your cooperation and dedication make our communities not just a place to work — but a safer, stronger, and more prepared second home for all.
