June 10, 2025 – Panabo City, Davao del Norte – In a significant step toward community empowerment, Anflo Industrial Estate (AIE), the premier agro-industrial park developed by Damosa Land, hosted its first-ever job fair at The Vessel, its commercial center. The event marked a major milestone in private sector-led employment initiatives, drawing nearly 600 job seekers from Panabo and nearby towns.
This pioneering event was not just another hiring fair—it redefined collaboration between the private and public sectors. In an unprecedented move for Region XI, Damosa Land partnered directly with the Public Employment Service Office (PESO) and the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) Region XI—flipping the traditional model where government usually takes the lead.
“This is the first job fair where a private company initiated the collaboration—it’s usually the other way around,” said DOLE XI Senior Labor and Employment Officer Jennylyn M. Rosalinda.
Reflecting the region’s growing manpower demand and the readiness of its local workforce, the fair brought together 10 diverse companies spanning manufacturing, logistics, agriculture, and food service. Among them were:
- Head Sport Philippines Inc.
- GMAC Logitech Refrigeration Corporation
- First Panabo Tropical Fruits Inc.
- Solaris Panabo
- RAMEN JU Tagum & Panabo
- Ninang Filipino Salo Salo at Kape
- ANFLO Management and Investment Corporation
- Davao International Container Terminal, Inc.
- Tadeco
- Kensington Ventures, Inc.
Beyond being a hiring platform, the AIE Job Fair served as a testament to Damosa Land’s role as a community builder. By bridging the gap between private investment and public support, AIE continues to promote inclusive growth and long-term career opportunities for Mindanaoans.
Through this initiative, AIE reaffirmed its commitment to workforce development and economic upliftment—further strengthening Panabo City’s emergence as a thriving industrial hub in Mindanao.
