Anflo Industrial Estate (AIE) continues to solidify its reputation as a world-class industrial hub, welcoming high-level delegations, diplomats, and government agencies who recognize its strategic role in driving trade, investment, and industrial growth in Mindanao.
Recently, AIE had the distinct honor of hosting Her Excellency Mrs. Makawadee Sumitmor, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to the Philippines, for an industry briefing and estate tour. As part of her visit, the Davao International Container Terminal, Inc. (DICT) showcased its facilities and highlighted AIE’s seamless connectivity to global logistics networks. The visit underscored the estate’s role in strengthening economic linkages between the Philippines and Thailand, positioning AIE as a vital gateway for collaboration with the Thai business community.
AIE also welcomed His Excellency Mr. Johann Brieger, Ambassador of Austria to the Philippines, together with Madam Roswitha Brieger, for an industry briefing and tour of HEAD Sport Philippines. HEAD–a world-renowned Austrian sports brand supplying 40% of the world’s tennis balls–is establishing its Panabo City facility inside AIE as a key global hub, further boosting Mindanao’s participation in the international sports manufacturing industry.
Strengthening Public-Private Partnerships with PEZA
AIE further demonstrated its commitment to regional development by hosting the Philippine Economic Zone Authority (PEZA) Board of Directors’ Meeting within the estate. PEZA officials also toured AIE locators to gain deeper insights into the companies and industries driving economic progress in Davao del Norte.
This visit underscores AIE’s role as a key partner in fostering stronger public-private collaborations, attracting new investments, and advancing Mindanao’s industrial growth.

In line with its vision of connecting Mindanao to the world, AIE welcomed the and international delegates from Palau, Japan, the United States, China, South Korea, Singapore, and Russia during the Invest Davao: Kadayawan Global Connect 2025 event.
