As Damosa Land prepares for the year ahead, the company kicked off 2026 by welcoming members of both local and national press for a series of briefings focused on the current real estate landscape in the Davao Region and updates on Damosa Land’s ongoing developments.

Discussions revolved around championing tourism, trade, and industry that continue to drive growth in Mindanao. Among the updates that drew strong media interest was the company’s sustainable initiatives surrounding its township projects, such as Agriya, where the University of the Philippines Professional School for Agriculture and the Environment (UP PSAE) will soon rise. This partnership between UP, ANFLOCOR, and Damosa Land aims to advance agricultural education in the region. According to Macy Bibat, SAVP for Tourism and Township of Damosa Land, while the UP PSAE building is still under construction in Agriya, Panabo City, classes have been ongoing since 2017 through online platforms and flexible work-based arrangements, supported by participating employers.

National media delegates also showed keen interest in discussions surrounding Damosa Land’s industrial and commercial operations in the Davao Region, particularly in comparison with similar developments in the National Capital Region. Conversations highlighted the impact of ongoing infrastructure projects on tourism, regional connectivity, and movements within Anflo Industrial Estate and other commercial ventures. The leadership team emphasized that the company is geared towards disciplined expansion, prioritizing projects that address real needs and focus on nearby growth corridors.
Through these engagements, Damosa Land reaffirmed its commitment to sharing meaningful insights on regional development and advancing its vision of promoting homegrown pride from Mindanao to the rest of the Philippines and the world.
