Damosa Land, Inc. (DLI) has proven that “ghost month” superstitions hold no sway over strong market confidence, achieving record-breaking sales during its recent expo, the DLI Kadayawan Sales Pavilion, which kicked off last August 8 at the Roofdeck of the Damosa Diamond Tower.
The inaugural Discover Davao showcase celebrated this year’s Kadayawan Festival by bringing together a curated selection of products and services from Davao’s finest homegrown brands, alongside DLI’s portfolio of locally rooted developments.
Featured properties included Agriya Gardens, Bridgeport, and Kahi Estates, complemented by its hospitality and service brands such as Microtel by Wyndham (Davao and GenSan), Pearl Farm Beach Resort, Regus, and the Anflo Industrial Estate. Together, these offerings created a perfect destination for lifestyle, leisure, and investment opportunities.
Adding vibrancy to the showcase were fellow homegrown exhibitors, including Malagos Chocolates, Cacao de Davao, KVI’s Meat Locker, Café Gervacios, Soul Kitchen Co., T’nalak Home, Botanics, D’Expresso Lounge, and NINOFRANCO.
Their participation highlighted the diversity of local talent and craftsmanship—ranging from gourmet delicacies and specialty dining to artisanal home décor and wellness products.
From all-time favorite durian delicacies to handwoven abaca textiles, artisan crafts, and Damosa Land’s sustainable and innovative communities, the pavilion carried a unifying message: the best of Davao is proudly homegrown.
The strong market response was evident from day one. Even before the ribbon was cut, sales were already pouring in—with half a dozen property reservations secured on opening day alone. This early momentum propelled the pavilion to reach an impressive ₱202 million in sales matching August to be the highest month of the year, a testament to both the appeal of DLI’s developments and the unwavering confidence of investors in Davao’s growth story.
This early momentum carried through the entire run of the event, culminating in record-breaking sales that underscored both the strength of DLI’s projects and the growing support for local enterprise.
“The Kadayawan Sales Pavilion is our way of reinforcing a vision we all share—to build a better Mindanao,” said Damosa Land President Ricardo Floirendo Lagdameo. “Bringing together Davao’s finest homegrown brands during this time is a celebration of our roots, our identity, and the true essence of the Kadayawan Festival. It is also an opportunity to showcase to the rest of the world the remarkable progress and economic development happening here in Davao.”
Beyond the property showcase, the sales pavilion featured mini-events throughout the month–from yoga sessions every Friday to Sunset Cocktails and grand open houses every Saturday. These gatherings created opportunities for meaningful engagement with prospective buyers and further emphasized DLI’s commitment to building not only communities, but also experiences that reflect the vibrant lifestyle of Davao.
With this milestone, Damosa Land not only highlighted its flagship developments but also reinforced its role as a catalyst for local progress—proving that when Davao comes together, even ghost month can’t stand in the way of success.
