Damosa Diamond Tower, the third building to rise soon in Damosa IT Park, won the Best Office Architectural Design for its distinct features such as green roof deck, solar energy, LED lights, and exterior fin placement on its facade where gentle weave patterns function in helping the building’s insulation system.
Damosa Diamond Tower also received Highly Commended Awards for Best Office Development and Best BPO Office Development.
“As it rises, the Damosa Diamond Tower is already a testament of the company’s commitment to sustainability as well as in the transformation of the skyline of Davao City,” said Ricardo Lagdameo, first vice president of Damosa Land, Inc.
PropertyGuru gave away 39 Philippines Property Awards to topnotch property projects all over the Philippines, where they received 80 entries from different real estate companies.
Damosa Land, Inc. had the honor of joining the ranks of other national developers such as Megaworld, Ayala Land, SMDC and ArthaLand — local developers such as Torre Lorenzo and Grand Land also joined in.
“Those who will be recognized tonight are truly the movers and shakers of the property industry,” said Cristophe Vicic, chair for this year’s board of judges. Vicic is the country manager for the Philippines of the prestigious Jones Lang LaSalle, a global real estate services firm specializing in commercial property and investment management.
Damosa Diamond Tower is a 15-story building that will stand among the other buildings in Southern Mindanao’s first PEZA-accredited IT park, the Damosa IT Park in Damosa District. Damosa Diamond Tower is set for completion by the year 2020.
Damosa Land, Inc. broke ground for Damosa Diamond Tower in December 2018 and started construction immediately after.
Damosa Diamond Tower has a total floor area of 22,500 sqm. and will reflect a piece of Davao’s history and the heritage of the Floirendo family’s agricultural roots in its overall aesthetics, hence, it will have banana fibers incorporated in the design.
It will be fully operational 24/7 as it will have a 100% backup power supply.
Damosa Land, Inc. won the same prestigious Philippines Property Awards in 2017 for Damosa Fairlane as Best Residential Development (Davao). The same project also received the Highly Commended Award for Best Residential Landscape Architectural Design while Seawind Condominium received the Highly Commended Award for Best Residential Development (Davao).
