Anflo Industrial Estate (AIE) in Panabo City, Davao del Norte, has officially inaugurated its new water treatment plant, developed in partnership with Manila Water Philippine Ventures (MWPV), a non-East Zone subsidiary of Manila Water Company.
The facility’s inauguration was marked by a ceremonial first water flow and was attended by Damosa Land, Inc. (DLI) President Ricardo Lagdameo and MWPV Chief Operating Officer Melvin Tan.
Designed to treat up to 2,300 cubic meters of raw water per day, it will deliver 1,300 cubic meters of high-quality treated water. It utilizes advanced technologies such as a degasifier and a reverse osmosis system, ensuring a reliable water supply to meet the increasing demands of AIE’s locators and enhancing overall operational efficiency.
“Given Manila Water’s strong track record and reputation, this partnership is a milestone for AIE as we strive to become a world-class investment hub, attracting both local and international investors,” said DLI President Ricardo Lagdameo. “It is only fitting to choose a service provider that can deliver essential utilities with exceptional quality.”
As AIE continues to expand and attract more investors, this milestone underscores DLI’s commitment to its vision of “bringing Mindanao to the rest of the world” by positioning the estate as a premier investment hub—locally and globally.
This 63-hectare estate is a self-sustaining ecozone equipped with complete facilities for manufacturing, cottage industries, warehousing, and agro-industrial operations.
AIE hosts 24 locators, including both international and local companies such as the globally recognized Head Sport, Thai Coconut, Del Monte, Packwell, as well as GMAC Logitech Refrigeration Corporation, a joint venture between AC Logistics Holdings Corp and Glacier Megafridge Inc (GMI), and Solaris Panabo.
