The Covid-19 pandemic has disrupted and changed our way of life almost permanently. But one positive impact of the pandemic is the steady growth of domestic real estate, not surprisingly, even the luxury and lifestyle properties.
Over the past few years, we saw a steady rise in demand for prestige properties, buoyed by several factors, including the need for plenty of space and fresh air and the ability to switch from city life to a life of leisure.
In Davao, Damosa Land inaugurated its luxury residential offering Harbor View Estates, exclusively located within the marina lifestyle community of Bridgeport. Grounded by its goal to spur growth in the South, Damosa Land spearheads another community milestone where it can further establish Samal Island’s potential and invite aspiring homeowners to find a haven away from the hustle and bustle of the city.
Inspired by the East Coast Hampton architectural style in the US, Harbor View Estates is an open-lot subdivision extending inward from Samal’s coast. Sitting next to the 90-meter-long exclusive marina, future dwellers are treated to their private paradise and a lifestyle synonymous with quality, luxury and comfort.
Led by Damosa Land President Ricardo “Cary” Lagdameo, the company set afloat the opportunity for a unique living experience through a blessing of the residential area last 18 April.
“It’s just been a year, and we’re already set. That says volumes about who we are as Anflocor and as Damosa Land. When we commit to something, we’re going to do it. And we commit to the project and Samal Island, and that’s how much we believe in it. And we hope that our buyers and homeowners will enjoy what we’ve done here and what we’ve worked hard for many years,” shares Cary Lagdameo.
Lagdameo added that the company aims to find innovative ways to reimagine how it can represent the beauty of the local culture and region.
“Harbor View Estates offers a picturesque marina community where families can find their second home and an investment opportunity within an up-and-coming location accessible to the city — promoting a balance of work, life and leisure,” said Lagdameo.
Expanding horizons at Bridgeport
Damosa Land, known as an innovator of real estate in the region, has been unstoppable with the launch of several properties, especially now that restrictions are easing up. Just a week ago, the company also hosted a grand open house in Bridgeport Park, near HVE, within the Bridgeport development.
Bridgeport Park is a four-building condominium project. Each building comprises four stories complemented by 18,000 square meters of open spaces for parks, playgrounds, and recreational areas with a scenic view of the Davao Gulf and Mt. Apo. With the uptick of investors in the past months, condominium units and open lots have been selling out fast, surpassing its target for Q1 of 2023 as the company continues to stay on top of the changing real estate landscape.
Launched in 2022, Bridgeport is a premium 13-hectare low-density mixed-use development only a few minutes from the city. With its construction in full swing, the project remains on track to complete its unique offerings within its residential, commercial, and tourism sectors — one worth noting is the expected completion of the first building of Bridgeport Park in Q1 of 2025.
“Supplementing the imminent recovery of our local economy, Damosa Land stays committed to our goal of being the region’s partner towards progress. We will stay on top of real estate trends and work hard to introduce innovations that support growth, attract investors and elevate the lives of our community,” concludes Cary Lagdameo.
