Damosa Land Partners with CREBA in Lamudi Forum
Damosa Land, Inc., as a member of the Chamber of Real Estate and Builders’ Association, sponsored the group’s general monthly meeting this July. CREBA, the largest real estate umbrella organization in the Philippines, worked together with DLI, one of the top homegrown real estate companies in Davao, to achieve their shared goal in contributing to the real estate industry’s progress. Through this seminar, they aimed to edify the rest of the members on one of today’s most efficient and innovative ways to bring in sales, and that is through the use of online media.
Lamudi, an online classified site for property selling, was invited to facilitate the coaching and open discussion with the participants.
“There is a big difference between being online and becoming successful online,” said Christopher Watine, the Head of Training and Development of the website that offers sellers, buyers, landlords and renters a friendly platform to search or post properties on the internet. He also discussed how to deliver excellent customer service.
The seminar focused on how leads could be converted to sales particularly through online media. Establishing a business and being competent online especially in the real estate industry is a big thing now as everything is expected to be readily available on the web, and this is what the seminar aimed to impart to the participants.
With the advanced technology and extensive people engagement on social media and web portals, CREBA alongside DLI hope that more real estate brokers and property specialists will maximize all available tools online. This could mean extensive reach to clients, quicker sales, and more exposure in the industry. With a more efficient sales and marketing strategy, CREBA aims to hark back with its members the quality service they have to maintain with the buyers may they be potential, current or past clients.
Regus Davao’s General Manager, Cherrylin Casuga was also present in the event and quickly presented their business solutions offer coming in Davao in partnership with DLI. Regus is a multi-national corporation offering not just an office space for any business but also the needed facilities, services and technology to help put it up and make it running.
“It’s actually nice that we continue to have these kinds of events together,” DLI Vice President, Ricardo “Cary” Floirendo Lagdameo expressed. He added, “I think this is really good for both parties and for the industry.” He briefly presented DLI’s portfolio which covers residential and commercial to industrial, tourism and mixed-use ventures.
The forum took place last July 4, 2016 at Seda Hotel. It was attended by CREBA members, real estate brokers from Davao, Real Estate Management students from Holy Cross of Davao and University of Mindanao, and officers of DLI, Lamudi and Regus.
