Damosa Land cuts ribbon for Seawind Tower 1, pays homage to Mindanao culture, heritage
Homegrown developer Damosa Land of the Anflo Group of Companies paid homage to the rich culture and heritage of its Mindanaoan roots as the first tower of Seawind, its condominium venture, has finally completed construction and was officially revealed to the public on August 28, 2017.
Damosa Land Vice President Ricardo “Cary” Floirendo Lagdameo headed the blessing and ribbon-cutting for Seawind Tower 1 in the morning. Anflocor executives, officials of the local government, and Damosa Land’s construction partners joined Lagdameo who thanked everyone in reaching this milestone.
“This milestone is a realization of our vision,” said Lagdameo.
An all-day Open House was also set up to welcome clients and potential buyers.
Later in the evening, Seawind hosted a festive cultural fashion and entertainment show for the homeowners of the 165 units in Tower 1. The event highlighted local designers and cultural dance performers to the delight of the residents of the first tower.
“Being a homegrown real estate developer, Damosa Land has always been proud of its Mindanaoan and Davaoeño roots,” Lagdameo remarked.
To celebrate such rich heritage, Damosa Land collaborated with KAAYO (by Marga Montemayor-Nograles) and the Davao Fashion and Design Council in presenting Luxe Davao, a showcase of luxe resort wear paying homage to Seawind resort lifestyle. Complementing the cultural theme of the night were the production numbers of Kite Dancers and Tribu K’ Mindanawan.
Since its grand launch to the public in August 2015, Seawind has already sold more than 1,000 of its units. Five out of its six towers are sold-out, with its last one now 60% sold. But even before finishing the construction of Tower 1, some of Seawind’s main amenities such as the entrance complex, clubhouse, and swimming pool have long been completed. Damosa Land is just awaiting the approval of occupancy permits before finally turning over the units to the homeowners, projected to be around October of this year.
Damosa Land is the real estate and property development arm of the Anflo Group of Companies that is responsible for the development of the Damosa District and Damosa Fairlane.
